BATTERY DANCE COMPANY: AUTOBIOGRAPHICA
.
A new evening-length work, “Autobiographica” was premiered with choreography by Artistic Director Jonathan Hollander and five core members of the Company: Robin Cantrell, Mira Cook, Bafana Matea, Carmen Nicole and Sean Scantlebury. Lighting and technical designer Barry Steele and composer Polarity/1 worked directly with Hollander and the dancers to take full advantage of the experimental possibilities afforded by 3LD’s space.

...Danny Schechter's feature-length documentary focuses on America's addiction to debt and the legalized loan-sharking by the credit card industry. It was the first to expose Wall Street’s connection to subprime loans, predicting the economic crisis that this book investigates.
